| This is the place where you can find and download some of my original music. Most parts were played by me and MR. Sticks, or Al Esis as we like to call him. Most are in unfinished form and probably always will be. Some have guest vocalists including Byrdy Kessler, Ryk Weiss, Jerry Stanwick, and Jodee Kruse. A few are songs written 10 years with Mindy Brown (Winchester) from Jain Jeffer days and recently recorded at my home studio. I would strongly suggest high speed internet connection as these are large files for dial-up. | |||
| MODERN MARY/ JUST A MAN | |||
| A disco thing done with drum and percussion loops off my keyboard, a couple guitars and vocal. Jeff Worral helped with the original loop idea. I think he also suggested some of the 'up' lines. Put on your smiles and dancing shoes for this one, even though the subject matter deals with being a bit of an angry young man. Defiant, anyway. | Originally this was a song Mindy and I did with Jain Jeffer. It never got recorded and in the meantime I wrote the Second Hand High lyrics. When we got back together to do it, both sets of lyrics just kinda fit into the song. So we left them. | I have a couple versions of this song floating around, but lately prefer this 4/4 rocking version. It really has nothing to do with religion and is a simple love song. The 6/8 version may eventually be posted here, or maybe appear on a rarities album. <[:~}> |
This is another Jain Jeffer song that never got a decent recording.This version is a bit different from the JJ one 'cause i had a much different approach to the bouzouki than Ray did. Probably one of the prettiest songs i have ever written and the 2 bouzoukis tinkling away can just take you to nirvana. |
