CHAPTER VI Maybe I was wrong about personality. In any event, we are now a 3 piece power trio, with Charlie taking over the drum duties. Most likely this is the way it should have been all along. We plan to set up his drums front center stage so he will be close to the crowd and won't miss all the interaction with them. Check us out at upcoming shows. AT LAST I THINK WE ARE ALL ON THE SAME WAVELENGTH. |

CHAPTER V We are proud to announce the addition of our new drummer, Ken Rider. Ken played locally with other bands and throughout Nashville and Chicago before moving to this area. We played many times with him at the Chesterfield Jam and realized what a perfect fit he was for us on many different levels: musical tastes, personality, goals, and level of musicianship, and professionalism. We did our first gigs with Ken the first weekend of January 2007 and it was a superb experience.

CHAPTER IV Do we give up the idea of a chick singer ? It took us a few months off to decide, but we decided to go with the all male revue. It turns out to have been a great desicion. Charlie is an ambitious singer, a good front man and we couldn't be happier. We are doing songs now that we would only have dreamed of doing with any of our other singers. A seasoned veteran of the local music scene, this is his first band where he isn't behind the drum kit. He has a more extensive wardrobe than any of the chicks as well. We have been together now for about 2 years. |

CHAPTER II When Bekk left the band we did some extensive advertising and came up with Jodee Kruse. Jodee was at least 10 years younger than any of us and had never been in a band before but she jumped right in and became a real pro in no time. She liked to rock and we also added a bit of modern country to our set list with her. Wavelength became our moniker and has stuck with us since. Jodee ended up needing to take a good real job. After 1 year of jamming with us, she took a teaching job in Texas. |

CHAPTER I Our little Rock and Roll band started out as Sandstorm, with singer Rebekka Sand. She and I(Jerry) were doing an acoustic duo and thought we'd like to electrify it. It went ok for a while but eventually we had a hard time playing our semi-folk-rock in dance clubs. We'd rock out pretty good and then have to do a bunch of slow tunes. Bekk's a great singer but her style is more suited to acoustic ballads and folk music. She and i still continue to do some duo work, and occasionally she shows up at a Wavelength gig and sets in on a few tunes. We lasted as Sandstorm for about 1 1/2 years. |
