I started out as a drummer. I used to beat on my little brothers till i got really got rhythm. Well, let's see I'm Eddie Brocka and I have been playing for about 12 years. I was taught to play bass by a traveling liquor salesman (or at least guys who always had booze) that taught me that in order to play the bass I had to drink a lot too. I do my best to stay standing but it is a fine line that I walk (on stage). I have had the pleasure of playing with some talented musicians in that time and also some very experienced drinkers.I have been in several bands including the Lungfish, the Nobodys, Fatal Flaw, Stoned Blue, Lee and the Lunatics, The Cravin Moorhead Band, the Flaming Pigs, and more recently Sandstorm and now Wavelength. I play a Fender Precession Bass and use a Hardke 3500 head through a 4-10 Hardke cabinet along with a 18" speaker on the bottom (Its homemade and I picked it up at a time I really needed something so I have no idea what kind of speaker it even is). I like pretty much all kinds of music especially stuff with a solid bass line and awesome drums. That way we can leave it wide open for Jerry to do what ever he wants. In Wavelength we pretty much cover the whole spectrum of songs and try to get into each and every one. Well I think that's about it so you should come check us out and have a few beers with us. I love to sing as well and do a mean version of "Love Shack". Yeah, that's where it's at. People lining up just to get down. I am a wannabe accordion player, and Jerry's doing his best to teach me how to sing harmony. Ask me to tell you how I met Ken, you know what I'm sayin'.
